Revell 1962 Chevy Impala SS

December 22, 2011 About a year ago, Revell released its kit of the 1962 Chevrolet Impala hardtop. Modelers seemed to be happy with the kit, but many wondered aloud why it was not an SS model.
Their patience has been rewarded with Revell’s new offering of the 1962 Impala SS hardtop.
If you read Bob Downie’s build-up review of the non-SS version in the December 2010 issue, you know that he gave the kit high marks for ease of build and overall detail.
