Tip of the Month: Photoetched parts cleanup
|I never know how to properly work with photoetched parts – most notably, how to get them off the parts trees. I use a pair of Xuron brand flush-cutters, and try to cut as close to the tree as possible, but I always get a sharp nub on the removed piece. |
How do I smooth it after it’s off the tree? I use sandpaper, but the part usually gets bent out of shape, leaving me frustrated.
