It's nice to have a kit of the '65 Dodge available again. Polar Lights really did its homework: details are crisp and plenty, the prepainted colors are fairly close to stock, and the chrome is excellent.

I found building this kit went fairly quickly. Make sure to use a sharp hobby knife and sprue cutters for removing and cleaning the parts. Most of the parts snap together quite easily and securely, but I did find that I had to glue on a few small pieces to keep them put.

The body is nicely proportioned, and the detail in the interior and on the chassis is crisp and accurate. I think the interior bucket feels a tad thick, though - almost as if it was made from resin.

You have the option of building the 426 Max Wedge stock or with the rare dual-quad setup. Other options include stock or custom wheels, a stock or dual scooped hood, and a boot for top-down action and an uptop option too. Nice!

Complaints? Only two. My kit didn't have a decal sheet (at least, that I could find), and mating the body/interior to the chassis was a major pain. I struggled to wedge it together and finally resorted to glue to get it to hold.

Despite the few minor annoyances, this prepainted snap kit is definitely worth checking out.
