If you like emergency vehicles, the Chevy Impala Police Car in Revell-Monogram's Easy-Kit series is a "must-have" for a quick build between projects.

Mold lines and flash on the white-plastic body are minimal; however, swirls may make the more-skilled builder consider painting the body.

The headlight and taillight assemblies are heat-fastened in place, so they should be removed carefully for detail-painting.

The interior detail is also nice, and is molded in an accurate blue. The chassis is nicely detailed too, with its typical snap-together rolling wheels and molded-in suspension. My model's chassis did have some warping issues that prevent the car from sitting level.

Parts fit was good, but glue was necessary to keep the shotgun in place.

The axles were too small for the rims, so I wrapped teflon sealer tape around the axle tips to make them fit tightly.

The completed kit looks great, and has a great stance. It doesn't appear to sit too low or too high, although the front wheels aren't exactly centered in the wheel openings.

Although there were some problems that may take away from its claim as an "Easy" kit for the young and/or impatient builders, it is full of potential for advanced modelers.
