Pros: Good for builder who likes nostalgia and a challenge
Cons: Age of tooling contributes to flash and fit problems; parts not numbered
This kit was released in 1969, and had some issues that weren't addressed with this rerelease.

The parts aren't identified by number, which makes it somewhat difficult because there is little picture instruction to build the Dodge. Most of the instructions are in paragraph form. The subassembly pictures helped a great deal, and I recommend they be followed closely.

I encountered an ill-fitting door-and- hinge system on the cab. I couldn't get the doors to properly fit in their openings, so I glued the doors shut.

One other minor problem was with the fit of the tires over the rims. By adding a chamfer on the outside edge of the rims, the tires fit without a problem.

If you are using any types of lacquer or urethane automotive paints, I recommend using a primer sealer of some sort. The plastic used for this kit is a little soft and will craze upon paint application.

I feel that only an experienced modeler should build this kit.
