Infini-T
Round 2 No. rdz38631
Model Type: Injection-molded styrene
Molded Colors: White, clear
Scale: 1/25
MSRP: $24.99
Pros: Excellent front wheels/tires
Cons: Poor rear tire/wheel fit; flash, mold lines, and ejector-pin marks; body/frame fit
This reissue is molded in white and clear, with a separately bagged clear sprue for windows and headlight lenses.

Upon examining the parts, heavy mold lines, flash, and ejector-pin marks are readily apparent.

The engine is a simplified version of a supercharged drag engine. I chose to strip the air scoop and headers, as they are molded in halves with poor fit. Stripping allows filling and sanding to hide the seams.

The front wheels and tires are excellent; the rear tires are molded in two pieces, with a sidewall insert. I had to clean up the inside diameter of the outer tire portion with a motor tool.

The rear end and front axle attach with chrome radius arms. I recommend using epoxy to get a solid bond.

The body is designed to allow the cab to flip open on hinges. I chose to glue the top down. The glass windows fit well within the openings.

The biggest problem was the fit of the body to the frame. No positive locator points are included, and the body rear would not fit over the rear shocks.

Experienced modelers should be able to complete the kit with a reasonable chance for success.
