Molded Colors: Black, blue, clear
Scale: N/A
MSRP: $19.99
Pros: Ease of assembly; decals laid down well
Cons: Chrome parts attachments

This snap kit is just for fun. There are only a few parts, including the optional tinted windows (clear or transparent blue; I chose the latter).

Keeping things basic, I didn’t detail-paint the model, but its appearance would be enhanced quite a bit with a little touch-up here and there.

The headlights and door handles could be painted chrome, for instance, and the scoop should be black, though it’s part of the chrome parts tree instead of the black one.

Some of the attachment points for the chrome parts were a bit stout, and leave some visible marks, even after careful removal from the trees. That’s probably not a concern to the younger builder these kits are targeted toward, but it still would have made for a cleaner look.

There are actually more decals than plastic parts, and it took longer to apply the decals than it did to assemble the rest of the model!

Still, it was a nice diversion, and an enjoyable way to spend a lunch hour. It could be a fun make-and-take project or a good way for a little bit of quality parent-child time.
