Making a contour sanding block

Tip: Here's a simple way to make a contour sanding block and keep round-handle tools from rolling off the table at the same time. Cut a piece from a five-inch self-adhesive DA (Dance Around) sanding disc and wrap it around any round-handled tool, such as a hobby knife. Cut the piece long enough so it overlaps and sticks to itself. The handle can now be used as a contoured sanding block, and when you put it on the table, it won't roll off!
