Mixing paint

RELATED TOPICS: PAINT
Tip: When you're mixing paint in an airbrush jar, pour the thinner in first. The paint is thicker and heavier than the thinner, so if you slowly pour the paint into the thinner, it will sink to the bottom without mixing. This will allow you to eyeball the correct ratio for a good paint consistency for airbrushing. I usually aim for a 50/50 mix.

Ken: Thanks for the tip, Jim. Mixing paint to the proper consistency for an airbrush is something we always have trouble with here at the Workshop.
