Applying putty on a car body

RELATED TOPICS: PUTTY
Tip: Here’s a tip I use for applying body putty, especially on curved sections of a car body where a flat applicator wouldn’t follow the body’s contour:

I get an old playing card, cut out the shape and size that I need, and use it to spread putty smoothly and evenly.

They work like a bodyman’s paddle, and when carefully cut, can follow any contour on your model.

The best cards to use are ones that are old and flexible.  These home made paddles cost nothing, can be cut to any size/shape desired, and are disposable.  Give them a try.  They work great.
