Waste less epoxy!

RELATED TOPICS: EPOXY
Tip: I use 5-minute epoxy frequently when building a model. I have to mix many small batches, and sometimes when the plunger is pushed, a large glob will come out by mistake – especially if you are down to the ends of the tubes.

To help prevent this waste of epoxy and better control the amount mixed, I separate the plungers so the epoxy and the hardener can be controlled individually.

Now I’m able to dispense a small drop of each when needed.

I use a pair of wire cutters to clip the “bridge” holding the plungers together at the top, then I clip off of some of the plastic so the plungers do not hang up on each other when pressed.

I find this modification to the epoxy dispenser allows the epoxy to last longer, with less waste.
