    GM Muscle Cars for 1969

Just for fun I thought I would post a few pics of what I consider my favourite year for GM muscle cars.....1969!

The Camaro Z/28, Chevelle SS 396 and the Corvette 427 were all painted in factory colour "Hugger Orange" and the Nova SS painted in factory colour "Le Mans Blue"

That reminds me, thanks again for the interior shot of the ' 69 Chevelle!
Got a new question - did your kit have the hole in the engine and the
metal front axle, or did AMT ever re-engineer that front end?

AMT must have revamped this kit because the one I built had plastic pins not metal axles that went through the engine block.

    Thanks Randy!
I'm gonna have to get a newer version then to scavenge the parts out of
in order to do that ragtop. It's got the metal front axle.

Thanks for reminding me Ray! I forgot about my Oldsmobile 442 as well as my Pontiac Trans Am and Chevrolet Corvair. Boy I wished I had a '69 GTO.....that is definitly my favourite GTO. I had the MPC one when I was a kid but that was long ago! It would sure be nice to have it now!

The 1969 Oldsmobile 442 was painted in factory colour "Nassau Blue" and the other two in regular Testors colours.
