Hello All, I posted a message a week or so ago about scale detail items for this 1/16 Cobra. Well the decals are long gone too! I'm planning on using plain white decal film for the stripes. I seem to recal that the stripes for the trunk are splayed apart a bit at the bottom to allow for the body...

Here is some pix of my '49 Shoebox build. I have an actual 49 ford club coupe that I am building and I thought a good way to see what it would like like finished was to build a model of it to scale down to the decals. So this is how it came out. I didn't know there was actually a community for...

This 1949 Ford Gasser has a hydromatic transmission and M&H Racemaster slicks on American mags. The front axle assembly is from a 1956 F-100. The interior features a smoothed dash with Moon gauges and bucket seats with full roll cage. The rear seat has been removed.

Hey guys, I'm pretty much new to this forum situation, but definitely not model BUILDING. I've been building them for exactly 30 years and even today, I still am. So, I thought I'd just go ahead and try out this thing, and hello to everybody else. But I have a serious question; After 30 years...

Starting with an AMT kit, Steve Kenyon added parts-box custom wheels and Michelin radials, and lowered the suspension for a better stance. Some extra details include flocked carpeting, Zolatone paint for the interior, and a simulated black vinyl top. The paint is Testors black metallic.
